Small business organization clouds the airwaves

People listening to the radio will soon be able to tune in to an hour long show that will be "100 percent focused on cloud computing," the Small Business Authority announced recently.

In an effort to raise cloud awareness among embattled small- and medium-sized businesses, the SBA will host the the Small Business Authority Hour radio program. During the media event, the advantages of the platform for SMBs will be discussed at length by Barry Sloan, the CEO of Newtek Busines, and Laura Smith, a reporter from channel 77 WABC. It will air on June 4 at 4 p.m. eastern standard time.

The show is set to discuss how SMBs with virtual applications may be able to save money and streamline business operations. Also, it will highlight additional resources made available to these business owners in the cloud, announced the SBA.

"The Small Business Authority has an authoritative presence in the small business solutions space," said Barry Sloane. "Business owners and technology professionals can use our cloud services on a unique, pay-as-you-go basis."

IT solutions now utilize cloud computing infastructure. Recently, Paycommerce announced a cloud-based payment and financial bookkeeping service.
