A Vancouver company believes that cloud computing is the key to business growth
A large part of why the cloud could become a popular business tool may be the fact that entrepreneurs everywhere believe its implementation can help their business grow.
The Vancouver Sun reports that one of its local corporations, the telecommunications provider Radiant, believes that the cloud could optimize business IT utilization. The company has already made the transition over to virtualized data storage.
The corporation houses its own servers in Canadian cities, which are run by a full-time staff that could potentially fix computing problems as they arise. Also, the news source reports that server demands are managed much like an energy utility company, and customers can add additional online resources, or scale back processing power as they see fit. Flexibility in internet demands, as well as the systems ability to offer clients remote access, are cloud-based advantages that Radiant claims grew its enterprise, which could be applied to many other companies.
According to Forbes, cloud implementation may be a key tool for growing businesses. This could be attributed to the fact that the flexibility of the system allows companies to scale-up their software demands when it is most economical.
