PROACTIS chooses NaviSite for cloud computing needs

Officials at PROACTIS, a spend control and eProcurement solutions provider, recently announced they have selected NaviSite's Managed Cloud Services to deliver its eProcurement solutions to North American customers.

NaviSite will now deliver secure, reliable and scalable eProcurement solutions for PROACTIS through its MCS, and doing so will allow PROACTIS to reduce its costs while mitigating risks of running its own infrastructure. In addition, PROACTIS can now expand its application delivery options for customers, which include cloud-based, Software-as-a-Service, managed hosting, on-premise hosting and a hybrid model of the two.

IDC predicts worldwide IT spending on the cloud will reach $44.2 billion by 2013, and with more, such as PROACTIS, noticing its benefits, the market could increase even further.
