R. Brooks Borcherding, President

As NaviSite’s President, R. Brooks Borcherding provides executive leadership to the company’s senior management and is personally involved in the strategy, financing, merger and acquisition (M&A) activities, business planning and day-to-day operations of the company. Brooks leads the executive team in accelerating NaviSite’s transformation as the leading provider of cloud computing, enterprise-class hosting, and managed application services for enterprise customers. Under his leadership, NaviSite is building a world-class organization dedicated to offering clients unparalleled service and support. With his direction, we intend to further our focus on the unique requirements confronting senior level IT executives in organizations throughout the world.

Brooks joins NaviSite from Cisco Systems, where he was responsible for strategy, planning, business development and sales operations for its Enterprise East division with a focus on driving revenue from Cisco’s largest customers. Previously, he held leadership positions in sales, sales management, general management, product management and information technology at Avaya, Lucent and AT&T. Brooks began his career as a senior consultant at Andersen Consulting.


Jim Pluntze, Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer for NaviSite, Jim Pluntze is focused on driving the company’s operational efficiencies and ensuring ongoing execution excellence. He is responsible for the organizations day-to-day operations, worldwide service delivery, infrastructure, and internal systems. Jim leads NaviSite's strategic planning process to ensure that the company achieves optimum efficiency while maximizing profits and exceeding customer service goals. Prior to his role as COO, he served as chief financial officer where he successfully led NaviSite’s financing efforts and the team in the sale of the company to Time Warner Cable in April, 2011. Jim joined NaviSite in 2002 as the Chairman of the Audit Committee on the Board of Directors. During his tenure he has been instrumental in NaviSite’s acquisition and integration strategy and debt restructuring.

Jim has over 20 years of experience in financial and operational executive leadership roles in the high tech industry. Prior to NaviSite he held senior positions at Lanthorn Technology, Guardent, Inc., and Razorfish where he was responsible for venture capital fundraising, merger and acquisition activities, and the implementation of financial systems and controls for both domestic and international operations.

Jim holds an MBA degree from Northeastern University and a BA degree from the University of Washington.


David Grimes, Chief Technology Officer

As NaviSite’s Chief Technology Officer, David Grimes is an innovative technology visionary responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s architecture and solutions. He has been instrumental in leading both the design and development of the NaviCloud platform. A leader focused on continuous process improvement through new and enabling technologies, David frequently meets with customer’s to gain market knowledge, evangelize NaviSite’s vision and develop solutions.

Prior to joining NaviSite, David was a lead software engineer at AppliedTheory, where he was a key member of the team responsible for developing the patented content delivery technology DeltaEdge. David joined NaviSite in 2002 through the acquisition of Clear Blue where he was responsible for overseeing all internal and operational support systems. Under his leadership, he lead the transition to an in-house platform that resulted in 50% infrastructure cost reduction.

David is a graduate of Syracuse University and holds a Bachelors of Science and Masters in Computer Engineering.


Michael Poole, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Delivery

Michael Poole is Senior Vice President of Worldwide Service Delivery for NaviSite. He is responsible for leading the strategy to best manage and orchestrate the delivery of enterprise solutions for customers. Michael’s International team oversees the execution of all customer solution implementations and is responsible for the management of NaviSite’s cloud nodes and data centers. His extensive understanding of business operations, infrastructure and application deployments, as well as a focus on service and support are key to his success in delivering a superior customer experience.

Prior to joining NaviSite, Michael was the Chief Technology Officer for the University of Massachusetts System where he was responsible for all aspects of the university’s centralized shared services platforms including PeopleSoft/Oracle ERP. His team was recognized by Oracle Corporation receiving the “Enabling the Eco-Enterprise” award for their work in building a highly efficient, virtualized infrastructure to support the sophisticated computing needs of the university system. Michael also held executive positions with Wellington Management and Houghton Mifflin where he was responsible for the global infrastructure and operations.

Michael received his BA in Communications from State University of New York at Oswego and studied at Polytechnic University in New York in the MS in Telecommunications and Computing Management program.


Chris Cordom, Senior Vice President, Sales

Chris Cordom, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, leads NaviSite’s sales and channel strategy efforts. As a key member of the Executive Management team, he is responsible for developing the strategic direction to drive revenue growth globally and aligning company resources to better deliver business and technology solutions that enable customer success. Chris joined NaviSite in 2009 as the General Manager for the Atlantic region sales team where his team consistently performed above plan and secured many of the largest and most strategic deals in NaviSite’s history. The region's success was a direct result of his expertise in collaborating with service delivery teams and the development of a holistic solution to drive customer satisfaction.

Chris has 25 years of sales experience in the enterprise technology market. Prior to NaviSite, he managed Avaya’s global sales organization where he played an integral role in architecting the sales structure and go to market model. He also held key management, strategy, and sales positions with Lucent/AT&T where he holds a US patent as a member of the team responsible for voice recognition call routing. His teams consistently exceeded their sales targets and were responsible for driving double digit growth in the competitive enterprise market.


Rathin Sinha, President, America’s Job Exchange

As President of the America’s Job Exchange http://www.americasjobexchange.com/ (AJE), a wholly owned subsidiary of NaviSite, Rathin is responsible for incubation, development and growth of this online job search and recruitment business leading all strategic and operational functions.

Rathin joined NaviSite in June 2007 as SVP and Chief Marketing Officer bringing in more than twenty years of internet and marketing experience, and a track record of growing high-tech and online businesses. Prior to NaviSite, he was VP/GM at Monster.com where he founded and led aggressive growth of the SMB targeted e-commerce channel making it the largest in the online recruiting industry. Earlier, he was VP of Strategic Marketing at Standard Register, Senior Director of eCommerce at Kinko’s and a Strategy Consultant with the Mitchell Madison Group.

Rathin earned his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, M.S. from the University of California, Berkeley, and B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology.
