Advancing cloud computing set for internet takeover
According to a recent UK News Reporter article, cloud computing will soon take over the internet. The article's author, Henry Thomas, points to advanced functionalities as the reason for this forecast.
"As advanced functionalities continue to hit the marketplace, and as kinks in the overall cloud engine are worked out, this is becoming an ever more powerful tool for the home user and business owners alike," Thomas argues.
Thomas states that the basic impetus behind cloud computing - being a managed IT network that allows multiple users to collaborate - is well-known; however, some of the service's newer advancements haven't received enough notoriety. Companies have begun developing and releasing solutions for once-problematic cloud areas, such as its failure to handle multiple applications running simultaneously without creating any issues.
With further advancements regarding optimization of functions, desktops, applications and more, as well as increased security measures through the use of cloud Virtual Private Servers, the cloud is becoming more attractive to businesses each day.
Thomas' argument isn't without support. According to a recent Domain-B.com article, as cloud computing advances, it will gain increasing traction during the next three to five years.
