Oracle names year’s top cloud architects

Oracle recently honored two executives from a tech-based business process solutions provider as its top cloud architects of 2010. The award honors the individuals or groups who best demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Oracle cloud technologies, or who implement cloud architecture that provides immediate benefits for enterprises.

The honorees were Theresa Enebo, the company’s vice president of enterprise applications and development, and Aaron Seabuagh, its director of IT client solutions. They led an internal development team in creating a tech infrastructure to support the company’s cloud computing platform.

"The most important experiences our clients have with our cloud services are ease of use and availability," said Seabaugh.

"With cloud computing, our clients can meet rapidly changing service requirements by adding service delivery resources from anywhere in the world without installing new infrastructure," said Enebo.

According to the company, cloud computing represents a “paradigm shift” is its distributed computing resources.

Oracle has been making strides in becoming a major cloud developer. It recently submitted a cloud management infrastructure for consideration as a service cloud API standard, a move that was considered significant in its advancement of cloud computing standards.
