Improving BYOD adoption and security with Desktops-as-a-Service (DaaS) solutions

Forester Research predicts that the number of virtual desktop deployments will grow from 27% to 46% within the next two years making it a key platform and something IT needs to consider especially since more and more employees want to work off their on devices as opposed to corporate issued ones. This is causing organizations to implement BYOD (bring your own device) policies. However the questions remain:

 - Will this type of solution keep company information secure?
- Is now the right time to move to a virtual desktop (or DaaS) solution?
- What other benefits will organizations get by implementing this type of solution?
