Microsoft has kicked off the new year by detailing its partner priorities for 2021. Microsoft’s Channel Chief Gavriella Schuster says that remote work remains the top priority she hopes partners will focus on this year, followed by business continuity and an emphasis on cloud migrations. A new report is shedding light on accelerated tech spending as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, including on cloud solutions. In fact, the research shows cloud spending made up 30% of total IT budgets, up from 25% last year, with a majority of respondents planning to increase spending on Microsoft Azure and AWS.
