Slow Wi-Fi has been a pain point for many remote workers since working from home became the new normal. Yahoo! Life covers this issue and cites Navisite’s recent survey statistics supporting this problem: According to Navisite’s research, prior to the pandemic, just 14% of U.S. companies had more than half of employees working from home, and employees’ poor internet bandwidth is the number one pain point in the new remote work world. Navisite CEO Mark Clayman gives tips for remote workers to create a better work-from-home setup. Dive into these tips here.
Now that many companies have had their employees working from home for nearly 10 months, technology workers seem to be feeling the effects more than others. A survey by Unify Square found that tech workers are more stressed than others. Explore more findings on eWeek here.
AWS announced it set up two new Wavelength Zones in Denver and Seattle. This will allow enterprises to deploy their applications closer to the two cities, resulting in faster travel of packets. This is especially helpful for projects such as the Internet of Things initiatives. Read more about the expansion in Silicon Angle here.
