Navisite becomes a member of the Cloud Security Alliance
What is the Cloud Security Alliance?
The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) is a global a not-for-profit (501(c)6) organization dedicated to promoting security assurance within cloud computing by developing and raising awareness of best practices through education. The CSA has a presence outside America, including robust teams in both EMEA and APAC, and holds a summit each year at Infosecurity Europe. Its core activities include research of cloud computing security assurance issues with a view to developing best practice guidelines, along with educational outreach programmes designed to help industry improve their cloud security practices.
Why is Navisite joining the CSA?
As part of the CSA, Navisite aims to collaborate with security leaders to further develop best practices and provide thought leadership. Mark Arnold, Senior Director of Security & Compliance at Navisite, sits on the CSA working groups to increase Navisite’s contribution in multiple areas of cloud security research and believes that this membership helps Navisite to lead by example and champion the importance of cybersecurity:
